Former President Trump has made a startling statement that he is set to be arrested on Tuesday, following alleged leaks from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. According to reports from Fox News, the District Attorney’s office is said to be preparing to indict Trump for alleged hush money payments he made during his 2016 presidential campaign.
On Saturday morning, Trump posted about the possible indictment on Truth Social, indicating that he will be “ARRESTED ON TUESDAY.”

According to a source from the court who spoke to Fox News Digital, the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg will be meeting with law enforcement officials to discuss logistics sometime next week. This suggests that they are anticipating an indictment to be issued during that time.
The potential indictment relates to the ongoing investigation into former President Trump’s alleged hush money scandal involving adult film actress Stormy Daniels. During the 2016 presidential campaign, Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen reportedly paid Daniels $130,000 to keep quiet about her alleged affair with Trump in 2006. Trump is said to have reimbursed Cohen through a series of payments.
In a lengthy statement to Fox News Digital, Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung blasted the investigation as a “witch hunt” and accused Bragg of being in the pocket of President Biden and “radical Democrats.”
