Former Secretary of State and failed Presidential candidate Hilary Clinton is in the news again for lashing out at Justice Clarence Thomas, claiming that he has always been filled with “resentment, grievance,” and “anger.”
During a Tuesday CBS interview with Gayle King, Clinton noted that the two had attended law school together.
She then went on to warn her audience about what the overturn of Roe V. Wade could mean for civil rights in the future. Claiming that the recent SCOTUS ruling was just the beginning of many more rollbacks of rights in America.
She also stated that “women are going to die” because of the decision
“Justice Thomas just sort of floated that out there about contraceptive rights, and contraception, and about same-sex marriages, but other justices have pushed back to say no, he is really sort of on his own with that. Do you believe that?” King asked.
“Well, he may be on his own, but he is signaling as he often did, people, I went to law school with him,” Clinton said. “He’s been a person of grievance for as long as I have known him, resentment, grievance, anger, and he has signaled in the past to lower courts, to state legislatures, find cases, pass laws, get them up. I may not win the first, the second, or the third time, but we’re going to keep at it.”
“You’re saying people pay attention to it,” King pressed.
“The people he is speaking to, which is the right-wing very conservative judges and justices and state legislatures, and the thing that is, well, there are so many things about it that are deeply distressing, but women are going to die, Gayle. Women will die,” Clinton insisted.
Interestingly, Clinton’s comments completely contradicted those made by Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Who described Thomas as being “a man who cares deeply about the court as an institution”
“He’s the first one who will go up to someone when you’re walking with him and say, ‘Is your son ok? How’s your daughter doing in college?’” Sotomayor said in the clip above. “He’s the first one that when my step-father died, sent me flowers in Florida.”
“He is a man who cares deeply about the court as an institution,” and “the people who work there,” the Justice continued.
“We share a common understanding about people and kindness towards them,” Sotomayor concluded. “That’s why I can be friends with him, and still continue our daily battle over our difference of opinion in cases.”
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ Deputy Press Secretary, Bryan Griffin, was also quick to call out Clinton for her “angry black man” trope against Thomas. Arguing that her assessment of the justice was “offensive, disgusting, and false.”
Griffin tweeted: “After I passed the bar, I stopped CT in a lobby in D.C. and asked him if he would do me the honor of swearing me in as a lawyer (2015).”
“He showed us pictures from his latest vacation with his wife and fondly spoke of the love he has for her. We discussed America, and from everything he said it was clear he loves this country and the people in it,” Griffin continued, adding, “In my anecdote, he did not know me or owe me anything. But he afforded me incredible kindness. I am certain he extends the same to others. He is committed to the Constitution, which is how he came to this and his other decisions.”
Griffin’s respect for Justice Clarence Thomas, paired with liberal colleague Sotomayor’s, highlights just how outlandish Hilary Clinton’s comments were during her MSNBC interview.
Not only were they wicked, but they were flat-out falsehoods that are being contradicted online by many more examples from people close to Thomas or who have had kind, intentional interactions with the man.
Hillary said that Justice Thomas was filled with resentment and anger. What she is doing is saying what she is filled with. Hillary so much resentment (being beaten by Trump in2016) and anger, seems she is always angry with someone because they didn’t do what she wanted them to do. Those crazy Democrats are never happy unless it is going their way. They want to destroy America. So instead of destroying America why not put them all on a one-way flight to China. That should make them happy.
The best thing you could do is never mention Hillary Clinton’s name or show her picture ever again. Do not acknowdledge Herat all.
Hillary is the most racist individual that I know of, she is absolutely envious of Justice Thomas because her entire life has been nothing but failures. She was thrown off the Nixon investigation because of her dishonesty, and every elected position that she has run for, she has been turned aside by the electorate! She can only get positions in failed administrations, and decisions that she has been involved in were failures, also! Look at the people who were killed in Benghazi because of her lying and ineptness! A female Lucifer!
