Congress Passes New Domestic Spying Bill

Despite how scary the rest of the world may seem, nothing terrifies America’s politicians like the American public. It’s almost like they’re guilty about something.

The U.S. House of Representatives passed legislation on Wednesday giving the Biden administration vast new domestic authority to combat supposed homeland terrorists.

The vote largely fell on party lines and was approved by a 222-203 margin. Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), the neoconservative ‘Never Trump’ RINO, joined the Democrat-led effort to eviscerate the Bill of Rights and Constitution.

The legislation, the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2022, gives the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) increased snooping powers in order to target domestic threats. This will inevitably be used against patriotic Americans, who have been demonized as terrorists since the Jan. 6 protest at the U.S. Capitol.

The Democrats are exploiting the victims of the recent Buffalo mass shooting in order to initiate their illicit power-grab.

“This past weekend, we had the shooting in Buffalo. We had a shooting in California. We had a shooting in my district, a gang shooting where a 14 year old boy was killed,” said Rep. Brad Schneider (D-IL), who was a co-sponsor of the bill.

“We need to address what is an epidemic of gun violence in the country. We need to tackle the challenge of domestic extremism. And the only way we do that is finding a bipartisan way to push the ball forward together,” he continued.

“I can’t say this law would have stopped what happened in Buffalo. What I can say is that if we give the abilities of the FBI, Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security to try to intercept these threats before they become a reality, maybe we stop the next Buffalo or the next El Paso, the next Pittsburgh attack,” Schneider added.

Some Republicans who supported the bill during the previous legislative session no longer support the measure because of the Biden regime’s overreach.

“The difference from two years ago and now is that the DOJ has started going after concerned parents showing up at school board meetings, labeling them domestic terrorists,” Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) said.

Big League Politics has reported on the concerted effort by the Biden administration to paint concerned parents as domestic terror threats:

Emails obtained by the non-profit Parents Defending Education reveal that the National School Board Association sought help from President Biden and the federal government to silence critics of critical race theory in public education, weeks before Attorney General Merrick Garland opened an FBI probe into CRT critics at the direction of a letter from the NSBA that likened them to terrorists.

The internal NSBA emails reveal some educators affiliated with the left-wing organization were skeptical of the notion of labeling CRT’s critics as terrorists, a concern that was ignored by the group’s national leadership.

In an email sent on October 2nd, Viola Garcia, Secretary-Treasurer of the NSBA, revealed the group had been coordinating with the White House on opposition to CRT. “NSBA has been engaged with the White House and the Department of Education on these and other issues related to the pandemic for several weeks now.” Garcia went on to dismiss opposition to the NSBA’s letter seeking political prosecution of its opponents by invoking the supposed threat of violence concerned parents pose to left-wing school boards, despite no more than a small handful of arrests occurring at board meetings, usually of parents for interrupting proceedings.

“In talks over several weeks with White House staff, they requested additional information on some of the specific threats, so the letter also details many of the incidents that have been occurring,” wrote NSBA interim executive director Chip Slaven in another email.

John Halkias, the NSBA’s Central Regional director, criticized the group’s letter calling for political prosecution, admitting that the NSBA should’ve deliberated internally before accusing CRT critics of terrorism and demanding the federal government silence them.”

This is an evil agenda that is being pushed by a delegitimized regime that is at war with the American people. If Democrats and RINOs are not totally rebuked at the polls this year, the nation is headed toward damnation and certain peril.

  1. BIden & the Democrats need to be jailed for all the lies about covid & all the bribes they are accepting from big pharma, vanguard group & blackrock.

  2. The fakery continues: Why are these Lefties only concerned with victims of ‘gun violence’ ? They don’t care about people murdered in other ways! So, if it’s not about saving lives, then it must be about guns only. That proves their opposition is purely political, and not based on the moral high ground that the Left claims is theirs.
